The Higg Index (Higg) is an apparel and footwear industry self-assessment standard to
rate environmental and social sustainability throughout the supply chain.

SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) assesses a site based on their
organisation’s standards of labour, health and safety, environment and business ethics.
